Natalie is a writer, educator, presenter, and public speaker. Her novel, Guardian House, will soon be released by the New Adult arm of Solstice Publishing. The first installment of the Curious Adventures series follows Alice and her clique of misfit friends as they struggle to uncover the mysteries of her home-away-from-home, Guardian House. Alice never could have expected the dangers that lurk in the people and places she’s grown to trust, including herself. Riddled with magic, horror, and a healthy dose of sarcasm, Guardian House is a realistic, fast-paced, urban fantasy that highlights what happens when people get lost in daydreams and are forced to face their worst nightmares.

When she isn’t writing Young Adult novels, Natalie is sharing her love of learning with others. She taught literature, composition and creative writing in public school for over a decade, and transitioned out of the classroom and into the role of technology coordinator, blending her passion for the art of teaching with 21st Century skill-building and the integration of technology to enhance creativity and innovation. In addition to working in high schools, Natalie is also an adjunct professor and has taught undergraduate, graduate, and adult continuing education courses. She is also an educational consultant, and designs and implements instructional design & technology integration workshops nationwide. Natalie is a Google Certified Teacher, authorized Google Education Trainer, and is a Certified Raspberry Pi Teacher, who utilizes her pedagogical knowledge to offer enhanced implementation of STEAM, technology, and Backwards Design resulting in effective teacher planning and instruction.
